The students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs put flowers at the memorial signs and observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of millions of innocent Jews and other national minorities killed during World War II.

The university hosted the first round of qualifying competitions in the military tactical game airsoft among students of the ERI No. 2. The competition was attended by 120 cadets, eight participants from each study group in the team, who competed according to the Olympic system up to two victories in each meeting.

Valentyna Pochuieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, and Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer of the same department, attended the international online webinar (Cambridge Webinar 2024) “Creative Writing: Getting Your Teensto Write with Pleasure”, which discussed practical strategies to promote creative writing.

Members of the scientific club of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI №5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an extended online meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture.

The Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko received a letter of appreciation from the Department of Science and Education of Kharkiv Regional State (Military) Administration.

Within the framework of the curatorial hour, the cadets of Sumy branch of KhNUIA together with their curator, senior lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines Andrii Siadrystyi visited the Iceberg Sports and Recreation Center. The excursion was organized to promote the physical and spiritual development of young people.

Applicants for the first (bachelor's) level of education under the educational program 262 “Law Enforcement” undergo an internship at the National Police departments in almost all regions of Ukraine. This allows future police officers to adapt to the conditions of service, as well as to get acquainted with the specifics of documentation.

Serhii Hirenko, Deputy Director for Educational and Research Activities of the Educational and Research Institute №2, Iryna Sievidova, Head of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines, and Viktoriia Veliieva, Associate Professor of the same department, met with the graduates of the O. A. Tryzna Balakliia Lyceum №1 of Balakliia City Council of Kharkiv Region.

Another practical lesson for the students of the Police Academy Primary Professional Training Center of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was conducted by the head of the firearms training cycle Serhii Svidlo and the teacher Serhii Zhydkov together with the deputy head of the KORD department of Kharkiv regional police Bohdan Sidielnykov.

The Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI №5 talked to the graduates and management of the Lyceum №4, in particular, the director of the institution Olena Chernets. The representative of the university familiarized future applicants with the main conditions for admission to KhNUIA.
