He introduced the young people to the specialties in which the university trains future police officers, and the prospects for career growth in the units of the NPU.

For cadets of the ERI No. 4, the Associate Professor of the Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law of the ERI No. 1 Olena CHORNOUS, together with the investigator of the investigative department of the police department No. 2 of the Main Police Department of Vinnytsia region Dmytro HRANKOVSKYI, conducted a lesson on the topic "Place of investigative actions in the sphere of economic legal relations".

Dmytro ZAIATS, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Process, Criminology and Expertise of the ERI No. 5, together with the Director of the institute Oksana BRUSAKOVA and her deputy Ella TVERDOKHLIB, met with high school students and class teachers of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 103 of Kharkiv City Council.

A field trip was held at the forensic support sector of the investigative department of Kamianets-Podilskyi DPD of the Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi region for students of the ERI No. 5, who are studying in the specialty "Law". The Head of the sector, Levon MEZHLUMIAN, introduced the students to the material and technical support of criminalists.

The Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held an online Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists "Psychological Readings", which was opened by the Rector, corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Valerii SOKURENKO.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA Artem BILOUSOV took part in the international online webinar "Teach Students to Own the Language" from Cambridge University Press and Assessment. The participants considered the latest methods of combining distance and face-to-face learning, the basics of "Language Acquisition Techniques", etc.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with the Cyber ​​Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Binance and "Brama", is holding the All-Ukrainian competition "CYBER SECURITY CAMP" for applicants to higher education institutions of Ukraine from October 2024 to March 2025.

In order to enhance the practical training of cadets, a 5-day training course was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the assistance of the NGO "All-Ukrainian Association "Patriot"" according to the standards of the TSSS of the SLS level (fighter-rescuer).
