On May 1, Law № 201 2201-IX, adopted on April 14, 2022, “On Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine to Improve the Procedure for Conducting Criminal Proceedings under Martial Law” came into force.

On May 6, 2022, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the draft law No. 4284 dated 29.10.2020 ”On de-Sovietization of the legislation of Ukraine”.

Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory on the problems of scientific support of law enforcement and quality of training Oleksiy Serdiuk made a presentation “Fighting human trafficking in Ukraine in the context of armed aggression of the Russian Federation” at the next monthly meeting of experts of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime – Global Initiative organized Crime Network of Experts Virtual Group Discussions (GIN VGDs).
