On February 24, 2022, “United Ukraine” Debate Tournament will take place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The tournament will be held in the format of parliamentary debates. The cadet and student community of the University is invited to participate in this event.

Ruslan Shelekhov, Lecturer of the General Legal Disciplines Cycle at Sumy Center for Primary Vocational Training "Police Academy" (Sumy) of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, with the participation of the Head of Temporary Detention Isolator № 1 of MDNP in Sumy region, Police Major Ihor Bork held binary lessons on “Organization of Temporary Detention Isolator Activity”.

Head of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Valentyna Vasylenko and Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Lesia Honcharenko conducted an information hour on the topic "We are Ukrainians" for 2^nd year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Police Lieutenant Colonel, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Alina Piddubna, gave an open lecture on the subject "Criminal Procedure" for second-year cadets of study groups 201 and 202 of the Faculty № 2 on “Criminal Procedure of Ukraine and the Sphere of its Action”.

Every year on February 15, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Honoring the participants of combat operations on the territory of other states. Prior to that date, commemorative events were held in Kremenchuk, which were attended by representatives of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

In the Scientific Library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs lessons of memory "This Eternal Pain of Afghanistan" for the first-year cadets of the Faculty № 3 and the second-year cadets of the Faculty № 1 were conducted.

Annually, cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs join a local meeting to honor participants in hostilities in other countries and put flowers at the memorial to the fallen soldiers of Afghanistan.

The internship materials defense by the 3rd year cadets of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who study in the specialty "Psychology", has begun.

Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty № 4, took part in a series of webinars on scientometrics “International Experience in the Field of Publishing. Successful Publications in Scopus and Web of Science”.

On the eve of the Day of Remembrance of the participants in the hostilities on the territory of other states and the 33rd anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, flowers were put at the monument to internationalist soldiers. Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko took part in the event.
