Employees of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Police Activity Ensuring and the Quality of Personnel Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue fruitful scientific work under martial law, the result of which, in particular, is the participation in the international scientific and practical events (trainings, conferences, seminars), including events taking place abroad.

Iryna Kazanchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the Faculty № 1, took part in a series of online courses "Professional development of lecturers: new requirements and opportunities" and "Academic Integrity in Educational Institutions", which were held on the platform of the educational program Prometheos with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Liudmyla Katsalap, Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Activity Organization and Intellectual Property Protection, participated in a Clarivate webinar on the topic "Research Smarter: Clarivate solutions for positioning higher educational institutions in the GRAS ranking". The speaker of the event was Clarivate Regional Solutions Consultant Iryna Tykhonkova.

The meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, headed by the Rector of the University, Police General of the 3-rd rank Valerii Sokurenko, was held online.

Scientists of the Scientific and Research Laboratory on the issues of pre-trial investigation of KhNUIA passed the online course “Remote work of public servants” and received the relevant certificates of the educational platform “Prometheus”

A meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Law-Enforcement Activity and Policeistics of the Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA was held by the Google Meet platform.

For students and lecturers of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Dean of the Faculty Oksana Brusakova initiated a series of lectures with sales manager of the SC "Unika" Volodymyr Kvitko. On April 29, 2022, the first lecture on the topic "Insurance companies in Ukraine - features of work and directions of development" will be held.

The online meeting of academic staff and applicants of higher education of the university with IT specialist Dmytro Teplovyi who has been working for more than 20 years in IT-units Temple University (Philadelphia, USA) was held at the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

April, 26 is a day of remembrance of the largest environmental and social disaster at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs honors the heroes who died during the elimination of the accident at the nuclear plant. 

University employees continue to provide targeted assistance - medicines purchased with the support of the Fortuna Clinical Foundation of the State of Alabama, USA and the coordination of the Center for Ukrainian-Polish Development KhNUIA, its Head Mykola Pakhnin, as well as Head of the Department of Public Relations Iryna Shcherbakova and Deputy Head of Scientific and Research Laboratory on the Problems of Scientific Support of Law Enforcement Activities and the Training Quality Oleksii Serdiuk.
