The conference was opened by Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Police General of the third rank, who outlined the tasks of scientific law schools of Ukraine in the conditions of war, and defined the prospects for joint work in the field of combating crime.

The Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Muzychuk and the Head of the Department for Organization of Educational and Scientific Training Volodymyr Ivantsov held an instructional meeting with the first-year full-time adjuncts on the peculiarities of the educational process at the university.

The XXV International Student Scientific and Practical Conference in foreign languages was held on the topic "International experience in protecting the national interests of the country by security and defense units under martial law". On behalf of the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, Vice-Rector Oleksandr Muzychuk greeted the participants of the scientific meeting and wished them fruitful work.

Representatives of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the scientific and practical seminar "The use of special knowledge in criminal proceedings: problems of theory and practice", which was held at Kharkiv Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, Candidate of Philological Sciences Nataliia Kobylko joined the V All-Ukrainian Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Online Conference "National Science and Education in the Context of the Russian Federation's War against Ukraine and Modern Civilizational Challenges".

Nataliia Kobylko, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty #6, Candidate of Philology, joined the international scientific event "PoetrykON" organized by the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland). The marathon was implemented by the platform Polska półka filmowa та Szkołа języka i kultury polskiej Uniwersytetu Śląskiego.

A regular meeting of the scientific group devoted to the topic of technical and forensic examination of documents in the investigation of crimes was held under the chairmanship of Svitlana Lozova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics of the Faculty No. 6, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor.

An online meeting of the scientific club dedicated to the preparation of the club members for participation in the scientific and practical conference of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs "Personality, Society, War" was held under the guidance of Olena Shakhova, Associate Professor of the Department. The event was attended by students, master's students and teachers of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty No. 6.

Dmytro Slynko, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law No. 1, took part in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Issues of Private and Public Law", which was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the corresponding member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the International Personnel Academy, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr Protsevskyi.

A regular meeting of the scientific club was devoted to the activities of executive authorities under martial law. The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Law Enforcement and Policeistics Iryna Panova, the Head of the Scientific Club Victoria Melnyk, lecturers of the department and students.
