The Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology of the ERI №5, Doctor of Law, Professor Mykhailo Shcherbakovskyi took part in a large-scale scientific event on the topic ‘Topical issues of forensic examination and criminalistics’.

As part of informal (non-formal) education, KhNUIA students regularly participate in various trainings, webinars, scientific conferences, etc. Mykola Marchuk, the Director of the ERI No. 4, and Tetiana Hudz, the Head of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights, noted the scientific achievements of the institute's cadets.

Representatives of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs acquainted the cadets of the ERI No. 3 with the scientific life of the university. Vitalii Naida, Head of the School of Scientific Leadership, researcher at the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI №3, spoke about the main stages of the School of Scientific Leadership.

During the training camp, the team of the tactical and special unit “SHIELD” marched over rough terrain, improved the actions of small tactical groups, camouflage, and operational movement. The cadets conducted mountaineering training: descending and ascending with climbing equipment, crossing obstacles.

The debate on the topic “Death Penalty: For or Against?” on the occasion of the International Day for the Abolition of the Death Penalty was held by Associate Professor Anna Naumova. The presentation “Axioms of writing theses: search for information, rules for using materials, writing conclusions and literature” was prepared by Associate Professor Yaroslav Lantinov.

Serhii Hirenko, Deputy Director for Educational and Research Activities of the ERI №2, spoke about the participation of cadets in the scientific life of the university. He drew the attention of students to the traditions of the institute in the field of scientific activity, the achievements of cadets and graduates at the national and international levels.

Higher education applicants who are members of the scientific club of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the ERI №1 took part in the work of the JustStudentship dialogue platform, joining an online meeting with the First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Supreme Court Rasim Babanly.

Lecturers of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines and members of the scientific club of Sumy branch of KhNUIA discussed the combination of traditional approaches to insurance with innovative solutions in the modern world. The report on this topic was presented by the 3rd year student Victoria Mozgova, who is studying in the specialty “Law”.

Victoria Bila, a master's student of the ERI №1, spoke at the conference “Countering Organized Crime and Corruption in the Context of Armed Conflict: Experience and Prospects” on the topic “Ukraine's Foreign Policy Priorities in International Anti-Corruption Cooperation”.

Mykhailo Shcherbakovskyi, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology of the ERI # 5, and Ruslan Stepaniuk, Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solution of the ERI # 2, joined the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Countering Organized Crime and Corruption in the Context of Armed Conflict”.
