Olha Hetmanets, Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty No. 6, took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Human Rights in Ukraine: Past, Present, Future". The conference took place at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. It was dedicated to the 72-nd anniversary of the UN General Assembly proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

An online meeting of the student scientific circle of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty No. 6 was held under the leadership of Yuliia Kyrychenko. The meeting was attended by 2-nd year students - members of the scientific circle of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity, who study at the Faculty No. 6 in specialty “Law Enforcement Activity”, master's student Yana Kolomoiets and representatives of the Department: Professor Alina Chorna, Associate Professors Oleksii Shumilo, Valentyna Zhornokui, Iryna Siadrysta.

An online event dedicated to Human Rights Day was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights – the first international legal document that set out fundamental human rights and freedoms on December 10, 1948.

Yuliia Lytvyn and Oleksandra Horilova, the third-year students, took part in the II Scientific and Practical Conference «Prospects for the development of the new economy at the global, state and regional levels» under the guidance of Iryna Sievidova, Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty № 6, Doctor of Economic Sciences. 

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is the only higher education police institution, which is determined to be the basic higher education institution for holding the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers in the fields of study and specialties for the period 2020-2023 (for three years) in the specialty «Theory and History of State and Law; History of Political and Legal Doctrines; Philosophy of Law».

Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a meeting of the science circle “Cognitive Research in Modern Philology” under the guidance of lecturer Nataliia Koversun.

Teaching staff of the Department of Civil Law and Proceedings, Faculty № 6 took part in the online work of the IV International Medical and Legal Forum "Constitutional principles of patients' rights protection during the pandemic." Larysa Krasytska made a report "Involuntary hospitalization of a mentally ill person as a restriction of the right to liberty."

Oksana Husarova, a lecturer of the cycle commission of natural sciences of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, prepared and held in remote mode a round table on “Information Security” for members of the science club “Use of information technologies to solve professional problems”.

The Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a round table "Branches of legal science and challenges of modernity", aimed at intensifying the scientific work of students and cadets of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) level of higher education, presentation and testing research, exchange of scientific and practical information on current challenges and problems in legal science.

An online meeting of the interdepartment scientific seminar of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the Department of International and European Law of the Faculty of Law of the University named after Karazin took place. The meeting was devoted to the International Day of Human Rights.
