The final meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 1 took place. The head of the scientific circle Professor of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Andrii Yashchenko informed the audience about the results of the group's work during the academic year.

The first-year adjunct of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Senior Lieutenant Yurii Sheka took part in the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Legal Science and State Formation in Ukraine in the Context of Legal Integration" held at Sumy branch of KhNUIA.

Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty № 1 Yuliia Zahumenna conducted classes for participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The discussion was devoted to topical issues and prospects of the research activities of cadets.

On the basis of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Training of police officers in the context of reforming the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine" took place online.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 1 Nataliia Krasnova and Lecturer of the same Department Hanna Babak prepared and conducted a country quiz "Do you know the countries which languages you study?". The event was attended by cadets and first-year students, faculties №№1-4 and № 6.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the International Scientific and Research Conference "Cybercrime and Human Trafficking Combating". The conference was co-organized by the Public Union "Global Center for Interaction in Cyberspace". The conference was opened by the First Vice-Rector of the University, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Dmytro Shvets.

A local group of the international independent organization ELSA Kharkiv conducted the Legal Tournament in Criminal Law remotely. It was attended by third-year to fifth-year students of higher educational institutions, majoring in "Law", "International Law" and "Law Enforcement".
