
A working online meeting on the implementation of the international technical assistance project "Improving Security and Response to Ionizing Radiation Sources in Ukraine" was held among representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, US Department of Energy Radiology Safety and Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs

At the initiative of the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko, direct assistance of the Head of the Research Laboratory on Psychological Support of Law Enforcement Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the International Police Cooperation Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region Vasyl Haichuk and Chairman of the "Restoration of Ukraine" deputy group in Kharkiv Regional Council Serhiy Gladkoskok was given functional electric beds, mechanical functional beds, wheelchairs, walkers, an oxygen concentrator, as well as other medical equipment.

Applicants for higher education and staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs listened to an online lecture by Eric Jensen, a Law Professor at Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah) on the topic of "Law of War".

With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukrainians were not left alone with their plight. Many countries, volunteer organizations help our state and citizens in various areas. The Fortune Clinical Foundation of Alabama, USA purchased the necessary medicines for employees of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, members of their families and veterans.

The management of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs expresses its deep gratitude for the humanitarian support for the residents of Kharkiv provided through the Fortuna Clinical Foundation from the аmerican people within the humanitarian project «Medicines for the University staff and their families».

Vitalii Naida, Head of the School of Scientific Leadership of KhNUIA, took part in a one-day online exchange between Ukrainian and German scholarship recipients and scholars of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, which took place in Berlin in order to conduct an informational campaign to cover events taking place in Ukraine.

Chrystyna Koval, a second-year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, participant of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty № 1 participated in online lectures "Simplify and Reduce: Military Rehabilitation under Martial Law" and "Lecturers and War: Psychological Resilience" from the US Embassy in Ukraine within the project "Initiative of Academic Integrity and Quality of Education – Academic IQ", implemented by the American Councils for International Education.

In cooperation with the Policing Institute for the Eastern Region (PIER) and School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU, Cambridge campus, United Kingdom), Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with the Kharkiv Region Police Headquarters, launched a series of meetings with British and European police officers intitled "Policing in war time Ukraine: in conversation with Kharkiv police officers".

Chairman of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Vitalii Naida as a Fellow of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Ukraine received a grant from the Foundation for the preparation and conduct of the educational event "Our victory in our words".
