
Representatives of KhNUIA, which implement the Erasmus+ program project under the direction of Jean Monnet “EU policy traffic light: gender, rights, migration and digitalization” (GeRiMiD), took part in the coordination meeting of the winning teams.

Tetiana Matiushkova, chief researcher of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Scientific Support of Law Enforcement Activity and Personnel Training Quality of KhNUIA, and Serhii Marchyshyn, deputy head of the Educational and Methodological Department, continue to take an active part in the development of a course on police response to illegal actions related to sources of ionizing radiation, during their use, storage or transportation.

As part of the implementation of the international technical assistance project "Improving the State of Security and Response to Sources of Ionizing Radiation in Ukraine", a meeting of the working group of representatives of the Radiological Safety Office of the US Department of Energy, the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Inspection of Nuclear Regulation of Ukraine, developers was held in Vienna course and trainees-observers from higher education institutions with specific learning conditions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was visited by the Head of UNODC Program Office in Ukraine Ms. Harsheth Virk. This is her first introductory visit to the University. The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the territory, the material and technical base of the university and to determine the prospective directions of cooperation between the university and UNODC.

From February 6 to March 17, 2023, the "European Professional Development League" together with Krakow University of Economics and Malopolska School of Public Administration in the city of Krakow is organizing an online internship for teaching and research-pedagogical employees of higher education institutions of I-IV levels of accreditation, regardless of forms of ownership and subordination, on the basis of Krakow University of Economics (Poland) on the topic: "New and innovative teaching methods".

The Declaration on cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava in the educational and scientific spheres was signed.

International humanitarian organizations constantly support Ukrainians during the military aggression of the Russian Federation. The other day, employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who stayed in their hometown due to various circumstances, received 400 food kits from the Red Cross Society of Ukraine.

Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA Viktoriia Dotsenko completed the online training of psychological trainers under the program "Training of Trainers on Psychological First Aid Self-Care and Mitigation of Burnout to Care Providers and has undertaken modern models of dealing with loss and bereavement" and received a certificate.

Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of KhNUIA, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Iryna Nechytailo, as an expert in the field of sociology of education, was invited by Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research to implement the research project "Resilience of education system: what Europe can learn from Ukraine?".

Victoriia Makarenko, a senior lecturer at the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of the Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA, participated in the five-day online course "Strategies in Managing Child Sex Offenders" in English from the LEEd CEPOL platform.
