
With the assistance of the leadership of the Education Department of the Saltivskyi district administration of Kharkiv city council, the Deputy Director of the ERI No. 5 Ella TVERDOKHLIB and employees of the preparatory department Oksana MALIUTINA and Oleksandr MISCHCHENKO met with the deputy directors for educational work of general secondary education institutions.

The Bar Council of Kharkiv Region held a scientific and practical discussion table “Practice of applying the legislation on compensation to owners of housing destroyed or damaged as a result of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine”. The event was attended by the academic staff of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5.

Vitalii KAVKALO, Head of the Human Rights Compliance Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department, told 1st-year law students about the main functions of the service and how the Custody Records project raises human rights standards.

The meeting on the topic “Human and civil rights under the legal regime of martial law” was held offline and online. Illia PAVLOV, a 1st year student of the ERI №5, made a report “Restrictions of human rights under martial law”, and Yevhen NOVIKOV, a 1st year cadet of the ERI №4, presented an essay “Peculiarities of protecting the rights of the child under the legal regime of martial law”.

Anatolii SLIPCHENKO, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5, Associate Professor, Candidate of Law, and Serhii SEMENOV, practicing attorney-at-law, conducted a class on “General Provisions on Contracts” with 2nd year students. They discussed the peculiarities of drafting and recording agreements between the parties in contracts.

The academic staff of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 5 together with the Head of the Department Mykola PAKHNIN took part in a webinar on the topic “International Non-Humanitarian Law: Protection of Civilian Rights in the Context of the Russian Armed Aggression against Ukraine”.

The topic of the regular meeting of the students' scientific club, organized by the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI №5, was the problems of meaningful definition of the categories of civil law that have not been enshrined in the civil legislation of Ukraine. Valeriia VELIHURA, a 4th year student, made a presentation.

At the invitation of the management of the ERI №5, Senior Inspector of the Juvenile Prevention Sector of the Department of Interaction with Citizens of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, Viktoriia VOLSKA, gave an informational and educational lecture for students aimed at preventing offenses among young people.

A lecture was held on this topic for students of the ERI No. 5, which was delivered by Professor of the Department of Civil Legal Policy, Intellectual Property Law and Innovations of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Doctor of Law, Professor Olha YAVOR.

At the initiative of the Director of the ERI No. 5, Oksana BRUSAKOVA, an online webinar was held on the topics: "Mandatory inclusion of integral, general, special competencies and program learning outcomes in the Working Programs of Academic Disciplines", "Filling the Working Programs of Academic Disciplines with program competencies and learning outcomes."
