Volodymyr Hrechenko, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty No. 6, Professor, gave the first lecture for first year students in the specialty «Psychology». The lecture was about the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, the achievements and prospects of our state.

Classes for 2021 full-time students of the faculty № 6 will begin on September 1, 2021. Students must arrive at 8.00 on September 1, 2021 to the checkpoint № 2. Admission to the territory of the university will be carried out in compliance with the quarantine requirements - a protective mask on the face and temperature screening.

Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activity and Policeistics, Doctor of Law Ihor Zozulya passed a number of foreign webinars to improve scientific and pedagogical skills. 

University scholars - senior lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Faculty № 6, Candidate of Philology Natalia Kobylko and Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 1, Candidate of Philology Oleg Goncharuk - joined the collective monograph "Philological science and education: transformation and development vectors".

2nd and 3rd year students of the Faculty № 6, KhNUIA took part in the international meeting of future lawyers, which took place in the Regional Center for Free Secondary Legal Aid in Luhansk and Kharkiv regions, organized by the international organization for law students ELSA.

Oleksandr Balabin, a second-year student of the 6th faculty of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, won the Ukrainian Youth Boxing Championship, which took place from July 26 to August 1 in Kharkiv.

At the invitation of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv, the First Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Dmytro Shvets, and the Dean of Faculty № 6 Oksana Brusakova met with Study Lab Head Liaman Abasbeili and Director of the Ukrainian Center in Baku Rustam Kuliiev. During the meeting, the parties confirmed their intentions to continue and develop cooperation.

In order to strengthen the quality of educational programmes at the Faculty № 6, a regular meeting with stakeholders was held. The discussion was attended by the Dean of the Faculty № 6 Oksana Brusakova, Deputy Dean Serhii Zahorodnii, guarantor of the educational-professional programme of the second (master's) level of higher education "Law", Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Proceedings Volodymyr Kroitor and stakeholders.

Today, Kharkiv Police University opened its doors to applicants who came to study from all over our country. The leadership and personally the Rector, Police General of the 3-rd rank Valerii Sokurenko made a lot of efforts to ensure that the campaign was conducted objectively, clearly, in a coordinated manner, on the basis of democracy, transparency, and openness, in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs graduated 1333 young specialists of the faculty № 6 - bachelors and masters - both full-time and part-time in the following specialties: “Law”, “Law Enforcement”, “Psychology”, “Cyber Security”, “Finance, banking, and insurance”. 65 graduates received diplomas with honors.
