On November 19, 2022, classes for future applicants began at the preparatory department of the Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA. During eight months, students will prepare for admission to higher education institutions of Ukraine, in particular, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

In 2021, on the initiative of the founder of the university Oleksandr Bandurka and with the active support of the university rector Valerii Sokurenko, the university competition "History of Law Enforcement Bodies" was launched.

At V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University the students of the city of Kharkiv were awarded on the occasion of the International Students' Day. The event was attended by heads of higher education institutions, student self-government of educational institutions, including representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, headed by the vice-rector Serhii Bortnyk.

Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty No. 6, Candidate of Philological Sciences Nataliia Kobylko took part in the 8th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative Technologies in the Context of a Specialist Foreign Language Training" on the basis of the National University "Poltava Polytechnic named after Yurii Kondratiuk".

Yuliia Hlushkova, a student of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with Yana Melnyk and Dmytro Koval, 1st-year cadets of the Faculty No. 1, with the assistance of the Department of Sociology and Psychology, conducted career guidance work at Kamianets-Podilskyi Gymnasium No. 14, where they talked with high school students.

Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Professor of the Department of Social and Humanities, Faculty No. 6 Oleksandr Tiahlo made a speech "The constructive role of mistakes in education" at the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical online conference with international participation "Only the Teacher Who Lives as he teaches", dedicated to the World Day of Philosophy (Poltava Academy of Continuing Education).

The management of the Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA, together with the staff of the preparatory department, held an online career orientation meeting with high school students and their parents. Future graduates of secondary schools No. 42, No. 56, No. 90, No. 111, No. 123, No. 151 of Kharkiv and Solonitsevskyi Lyceum No. 1 of Kharkiv region took part in the event.

The management of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the student self-government determined the winners of the creative competition, which was held before the International Students' Day.

Yurii Aleksandrov, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology, Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA, took part in the author's webinar of Hanna Chatchenko "Working with Ukrainian refugees. Practical experience", which was carried out as part of the implementation of the project "Psychological Forces of Ukraine''.

The 13th Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literary Competition for Pupils and Student Youth started at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. 127 cadets and university students took part in the first stage of the competition. Based on the results of the examination of the competitive works, the jury will determine the winners who will take part in the next stage of the competition.
