The Deputy Dean of the Faculty № 6 Kostiantyn Sverdlin held a working meeting with Yuliia Bashkirova, the head of the Education Department of Shevchenkivskyi District of Kharkiv City Council, and Olena Yevlakhova, a methodologist of the same department.

Exactly two years ago, on March 11, 2022, a sad and tragic event shook the staff of our university. As a result of a direct hit of a shell in the house, the Assistant to the Rector, chairman of the university trade union organization, candidate of sociological sciences, police colonel Valerii Moskovets died. He was at home in Dergachi with his granddaughter Anastasia.

Mykola Holub, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement and Policeistic of the Faculty № 6, met with the management and staff of the Preventive Activities Department of Kharkiv Regional Police. During the conversation, he spoke about the features, conditions and advantages of admission and studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the requirements for obtaining a specialty at all faculties of the university, as well as obtaining a master's degree at the Faculty No. 6.

Every year, on the occasion of the Great Kobzar's birthday, the NGO "Innovative Horizons of Ukraine" holds an All-Ukrainian essay contest for pupils and students "My Shevchenko", where each participant has the opportunity to present their own vision of the artist's figure and the relevance of his poetry in our time. According to the results of the competition, Valeriia Klynytska, a student of the Faculty № 6, took second place and received a second-degree diploma.

This year we celebrate the 210th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko. It is impossible to overestimate the role and place of the great Kobzar in the history of Ukraine, its culture, art, literature, and in the life of every Ukrainian. We have known him since childhood.

On the occasion of the 210th anniversary of the birth of the Great Kobzar, a poetic and literary teleconference was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs: "Shevchenko speaks through the ages...".

Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, Candidate of Philological Sciences Natalia Kobylko held a video lecture "The Phenomenon of the Great Genius" for first-year students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Volodymyr Hrechenko, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Faculty № 6, Doctor of History, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, took part in the III International Scientific and Theoretical Conference "Scientific method: reality and future trends of researching" in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia, in absentia. 

The management, staff and 1st and 2nd year students of the Faculty № 6 of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs collected and delivered humanitarian aid to Donetsk region to the soldiers of one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.

For master's students majoring in Finance, Banking and Insurance and bachelor's students majoring in Law, a binary lesson on "Motivation. How to Find a Resource in Yourself" was conducted by career consultant, coach, trainer Natalia Postavna, associate professor of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security Iryna Anton, and professor of the same department Yulia Kyrychenko.
