The next recruitment of students to the Preparatory Department is underway. Classes begin on January 11, 2025. Within four months, applicants will be able to prepare qualitatively for admission to higher education institutions of Ukraine, primarily Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Ella Tverdokhlib, Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute №5, held a career guidance meeting with students of the Center for Primary Professional Training “Police Academy” of KhNUIA. She familiarized them with the conditions of obtaining higher education of the bachelor's and master's degrees at the Educational and Research Institute №5.

The preparatory Department of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs ensures the acquisition of high-quality knowledge for all categories of applicants with maximum use of the modern material and technical base and developed infrastructure of the higher education institution.

First-year psychology students of the ERI No. 5, under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences Natalia Kobylko, took part in the 5th Open Ukrainian language marathon, organized by the DNU "Institute for Modernization of Educational Content" and LLC "Human".

The next meeting of the scientific circle "Cyberscientist" was held, at which the work of the circle for the first half of the 2024/2025 academic year was summarized and the immediate goals for the next one were determined. The meeting was opened by the Head of the scientific circle, Associate Professor of the Department Volodymyr Tulupov.

At the invitation of the language ombudsman of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agro-Technological University, Professor Tetiana Sharova, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies Nataliia Kobylko took part in the language courses as a speaker.

A senior lecturer at the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5, Yulia Sarbej, completed a training program on this topic. The course participants covered the following topics: “Determining the level of traumatization”, “Stress, types and reactions to stress”, “Dynamics of the conditions of victims: the impact of extreme factors, GSR and PTSD”, etc.

Deputy Director Ella Tverdokhlib, Head of the Department Iryna Panova, Professors of the Department Svitlana Popova and Olena Syniavska, and Leading Specialist of the Preparatory Department Oleksandr Mishchenko spoke with future entrants.

Representatives of research laboratories and departments of the Educational and Research Institutes of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a meeting of the working group on forecasting the development of the security environment in Ukraine. The event was organized by the Department of Situational Analysis and Forecasting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Associate professors of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5, candidates of psychological sciences Yana Ponomarenko and Alla Shilina acted as speakers at an extended meeting dedicated to the topic "Joint work of educational institutions, the parent community, law enforcement agencies and social services to prevent the recruitment of children and their involvement in subversive activities."
