
Conducting scientific research is one of the priority areas of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. In times of war, the university's research activities are aimed at studying issues related to countering armed aggression, cyberattacks, etc.

In all the cities where Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is located, students take part in the information campaign on child road safety in winter, which is conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with UNICEF and the National Police on the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska.

On the initiative of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies of KhNUIA, an awarding ceremony was held for students and cadets who became winners of competitions. The awards were presented by: Deputy Director of the ERI No. 5 Myroslava Ivasyk, Head of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies Volodymyr Hrechenko, Associate Professor Nataliia Kobylko and Senior Lecturer Nataliia Yelnikova.

Bohdaniv Lyceum named after I. H. Tkachenko of Subottsivska village council of Kropyvnytskyi district of Kirovohrad region was visited by cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Vladyslav Dubyna and Kostiantyn Rotan. The high school students learned more about obtaining higher education in the field of law at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

A meeting was held with students of Tulchyn Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training of the Air Force by a cadet of the ERI No. 4, Oleksandr Safronov. He introduced the students to the specifics of studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, spoke about the rules of admission, practical training, and employment prospects in law enforcement agencies.

KhNUIA representatives - students of the ERI No. 1, 4 and 5, head of the Department of Special Physical Training Dmytro Konstantynov and the coach of the national track and field team, master's student Volodymyr Manukian - became participants in the race, which is a solidarity manifestation of care for people who have experienced and are still experiencing traumatic experiences.

A career guidance meeting was held at Starokostiantynivka comprehensive school of I-III grades No. 1, which was conducted by a graduate of this school, a cadet of the 1st year of the ERI No. 4, Oleksandr Lukashuk. Using his own example, he demonstrated the importance of choosing a profession in a timely manner, and told students about the peculiarities of studying at KhNUIA.

A 2nd-year cadet of the ERI No. 4, Snizhana Antoshchuk, took part in an interuniversity meeting of the student scientific circle on international law, organized by the Department of International and European Law of the Faculty of Law of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

An online meeting with graduating students of schools in Kharkiv region and their parents was held by Yevhen Hrinchenko, a leading researcher at the research laboratory on information technology and combating crime in cyberspace of the ERI No. 4. He told the students about KhNUIA, specialties and specializations in which specialists for the National Police are trained.

On the eve of the professional holiday of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the curators of educational work of the department of social and humanitarian work held thematic educational conversations for students of the final courses of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4.
