
In 2023, the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs invites employees of the National Police of Ukraine to enroll in full-time education for the second (master's) level in the specialties 262 "Law Enforcement" and 053 "Psychology".
Admission to study is based on the first (bachelor's) level of higher education.

As part of the military and patriotic education for the cadets of Faculties 2 and 3, a meeting was held with Vinnytsia documentary photographer and photo artist Kostiantyn Revutskyi, who presented his photographs to the youth.

Mykhailo Shatnyi, a 3rd year cadet of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the All-Ukrainian sports and combat sambo tournament "Young Ukraine" held in Vinnytsia. Mykhailo Shatnyi took the first place in combat sambo among juniors in the weight category up to 64 kg, and also won the personal award "For the fastest victory".

As part of the camp activities, a video lecture "History and Traditions of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs" was held for first-year cadets of faculties 1-4 (in person and online).
The history of law enforcement training in Kharkiv goes back more than 100 years and began during the period of the Ukrainian People's Republic.

The first day of the camp training for the first-year students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs began with a solemn formation on the parade ground. After the University Flag was brought in, the State Flag was raised and the National Anthem of Ukraine was performed, the Rector, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko addressed the youth.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs pays considerable attention to the cultural and aesthetic leisure of higher education students. The cadets of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 attended the concert "Serenade of Love" in Vinnytsia Regional Philharmonic named after M. D. Leontovych and the humorous concert-festival "Vinnytsia League of Laughter" held in Vinnytsia Regional Culture Center "Shchedryk".

From May to July 2023, cadets of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were involved in measures to ensure public safety and order during the martial law in Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi regions.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a meeting with privileged cadets who are internally displaced persons to create and participate in the work of the Council of Internally Displaced Persons. The event was attended by regional coordinators of public relations of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Vinnytsia region and others.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Leonid Tymchenko honored the staff and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Yurii Onyshchenko, Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty No. 4, Master's student and cadets of the university were awarded with the Certificate of Commendation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for participation in the creation of the web resource "Potier.NET".

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs opened its doors to applicants who came to enter the police university from all over the country.
