
On the occasion of the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus-Ukraine and the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized a lecture "The historical significance of the adoption of Christianity in Kyivan Rus-Ukraine" for the cadets of the Faculty No. 2.

On the eve of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of the university started conducting excursions to the mobile exhibition "Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921 on the territory of Podillia" for cadets of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3.

University cadets devote their free time to interesting trips, excursions, playing sports, and attending lectures and art-educational events. A volleyball competition between the teams of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 was held last weekend; students of the 2-4 courses of the Faculty No. 3 watched the documentary film "Who Are We? Psychoanalysis of Ukrainians".

The Department of Social and Humanitarian work organized the lecture "Professional ethics of a police officer through the prism of spiritual and cultural values and requirements of the educational process" for cadets of 3-4 courses of Faculties No. 2 and No. 3. Ivan Krytsak, Senior Researcher of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Pre-Trial Investigation, held the lecture.

Cadets of the Faculties No. 1–4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs celebrated the International Chess Day with a chess tournament. The event was held on the initiative of the cadet and student self-government. The event was dedicated to the International Chess Day.

Members of the Thai boxing national team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs became the winners of the open Muay Thai tournament of SC "U-Wei", held in the city of Vinnytsia.

With the assistance of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work for the university staff children, temporarily relocated to another city, a revision of the performance "Gosling" of Vinnytsia Academic Regional Puppet Theater "Golden Key" was organized.

With the assistance of the City Marketing and Tourism Department of Vinnytsia City Council, free walking tours around the city of Vinnytsia have been started for cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs once again provided assistance to medical institutions by becoming blood donors. 40 cadets of Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 came to the regional blood service center together with their curators.

Despite the military situation in which our country is, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continues to train specialists for criminal police units at the Faculty No. 2 under the educational programs "Law", "Accounting and Taxation", "Law Enforcement Activities". All conditions have been created for future police officers to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
