For millions of people, Christmas and New Year's holidays are a time they spend with family and friends. Unfortunately, today Ukraine is at war and not everyone can celebrate the holidays with their families. But despite all the hardships, we are all united by the desire to be happy, successful, independent, live in peace and harmony, and to win the victory over the enemy. The cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs wish you happy New Year's holidays.

During the Christmas and New Year holidays, the cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are on duty to ensure public safety and order in all cities where the university is located. Vice-Rector Serhii Bortnyk conducted a briefing with the personnel before the service.

During the conference, the Dean of the Faculty Ihor Nazarenko summarized the results of the team's work in 2023. The main achievements were identified and new prospects for the development of structural units in 2024 were outlined.

Employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held individual educational conversations with freshmen of the faculties №1-4 with the participation of Assistant to the Rector Viktor Slysh. Among the topics discussed with the cadets on the eve of the vacation were compliance with the requirements of official discipline and law, transport discipline, rules of conduct on the Internet, prevention of alcohol and drug use, etc.

On the occasion of the Christmas and New Year holidays, the orchestra of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region congratulated the staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with a festive and patriotic program. At the beginning of the event, the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko addressed the audience.

On the eve of the cadets' internship in the 2023-2024 academic year and vacation leave, the management of Faculties № 2 and № 3 held a meeting with 2nd and 3rd year students studying in the specialties "Law", "Psychology", "Law Enforcement" and "Accounting and Taxation".

Oksana Sobko, 3rd year cadet of the Faculty № 2, took part in the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Global Security and Asymmetry of the World Economy in the Context of Unstable Development of Economic Systems", organized by the Department of International Economic Relations of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University.

As part of the national and patriotic and military and patriotic education of young people, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held the event "Know the Hero", during which cadets told about the defenders who gave their lives to preserve the independence and sovereignty of our state.

An open all-Ukrainian wushu-sanda tournament "WU-WEI Cup 2023" was held in Vinnytsia, in which cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part. According to the results of the competition, the cadets of the university took prizes

Victoriia Pertseva, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies, curator of group 201 of the Faculty No. 2, held individual conversations with the cadets. During the conversations, the cadets shared their thoughts about their moods, interests and hobbies, tolerant attitude towards classmates, bad habits and ways to combat them, leisure and family relationships, etc.
