First-year cadets of the ERI ​​No. 1 took part in a lesson on the topic "Combating Offenses and Crimes: Taxi Fraud", which was conducted by Artur MIROSHNYCHENKO, an investigator of the investigative department of Pavlohrad Regional Department of the Main Department of National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region, together with Vita FYLYPSKA, an Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training, and Larysa SAZANOVA, a senior lecturer of the same department.

Oleksandr AVDIEIEV, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, conducted a lesson on the topic "Criminal offenses in the field of drug trafficking" with the participation of Roman KURILETS, Senior Operational Officer of Yavoriv Regional Police Department of the Main Police Department in Lviv Region, and Bohdan MAIKHER, Inspector of the State Police Department in Lviv Region.

Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Olena HORASH, as part of her curatorial work, discussed with the cadets the basic rights and obligations of citizens, the importance of legal protection in the life of every person. The curator introduced the provisions of the UN Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.

Every year in March, the Public Organization “Innovative Horizons of Ukraine” holds the Essay Competition for Pupils and Students “My Shevchenko”. Its goal is to popularize the creative heritage of Taras Shevchenko, preserve the memory of the Kobzar and his role in forming the spiritual foundations of the Ukrainian nation.

The Head of the public order sector of the department of interaction with communities of Kamianets-Podilskyi DPD of the Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi region Ruslan HONCHARUK and the Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the ERI No. 4 Oksana MELNYCHUK held a lesson for cadets of the ERI No. 1 on the topic "Social control and deviation".

Students of the graduating classes of the city's lyceums gathered at Lyceum No. 4 to learn more about the possibilities of admission and study at a higher education institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. The speakers were the deputy heads of courses of the ERI No. 1 Ruslan YEDYN and the ERI No. 4 Maryana SIDLETSKA, who told future applicants about the features of studying at the Educational and Research Institutes of KhNUIA.

Representatives of the ERI No. 5 and ERI No. 1 and the chief researcher of the National Institute of Criminalistics on the problems of ensuring police activities and combating crime, Olena FEDOSOVA, joined the conference "Methodological principles of criminalistics: traditions and innovations."

Deputy Head of the TDC No. 4 of the Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi Region Yaroslav BONDARCHUK, Inspector of the Human Rights Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi Region Roman SVIRCHEVSKYI conducted a class together with Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1 Hennadii HLOBENKO.

As part of career guidance work, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1 Oleksandr KHAN held a meeting with graduating students of Buchatska Comprehensive School No. 1 in Ternopil region. The seniors got acquainted with the procedure and conditions of admission to the university, as well as the peculiarities of study.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Athletics team took part in Khmelnytskyi Region Cross-Country Athletics Championship. According to the results of the competition, the cadets won prizes in running at various distances.
