
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Tetiana SHEVCHUK, as part of her curatorial work, held a conversation with cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 regarding the beginning of the new academic year, taking into account the requirements of martial law in Ukraine.

Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Doctor of Law Yulia ZAHUMENNA held a curatorial hour for 4th-year cadets of the ERI No. 1 on the topic "Academic discipline and legality as the basis of professional training of a future police officer."

On September 11, 2025 at 9:30 in room 319 K (Kamenets-Podilskyi), an open lecture on the academic discipline "Criminal Process" will be held for study groups of the ERI 1-23-306 Pd, ERI 4-23-304 Pd on the topic "Subjects of Criminal Proceedings".

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Tetiana SHEVCHUK conducted a class dedicated to the analysis of theoretical and legal problems of combating crime under the legal regime of martial law for 3rd year cadets of the ERI No. 1 and ERI No. 4.

The monograph "Theoretical, legal and praxeological foundations of forensic psychiatric examination" has been published, the author of which is Olena MAKAROVA, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise of the ERI No. 1.

The Deputy Head of Kamianets-Podilskyi City District Court, Yurii MANTULIAK, and the Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation, Oksana PCHELINA, conducted a practical class for the cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 within the framework of studying the discipline "Criminal Procedure".

For students of the ERI No. 1-4, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held an information and educational hour dedicated to the Day of the End of World War II.

Alina PIDDUBNA, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1, together with Kateryna RODINA, Head of the Juvenile Prevention Sector of the Department of Interaction with Communities of Kamianets-Podilskyi Regional Unit of the Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi Region, conducted a lesson on the subject "Criminal Process" for cadets of the ERI No. 1.

During the camp, freshmen received increased attention from the university's psychological service specialists. Successful adaptation to the specific conditions of studying at a university is the first important step on the path to professional development of future police officers.

In order to form national consciousness and military-patriotic education of young people, first-year students of the ERI No. 1, 4 and 5 of KhNUIA watched a documentary dedicated to the 20-year history of the only Demining Center in Ukraine, which was eventually transformed into the 143rd Joint Educational and Training Center "Podillia".
