During the meeting with the first-year cadets, Olena Svitlakova, Deputy Director of the Scientific Library, presented the information resources and services of the University Library: book collection, electronic catalog, electronic library, library portal and repository. She also familiarized the youth with the services provided by the library and the rules of using the library.

The management and students of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the All-Ukrainian action of remembrance "Sunflower". They visited the university museum, honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine, including graduates of the educational institution, who gave their lives for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.

The purpose of the event was to honor the Heroes, the defenders of Ukraine who defended the ideals of democracy, our independence and unity at the cost of their own lives, people who proved that Ukraine will always fight for its freedom and European future.

On the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, cadets and staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs put flowers at the monuments to the fallen defenders of Ukraine and law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. Ukrainians honor the memory of the soldiers who at different times gave their lives for our freedom and independence.

On August 29, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine - servicemen and members of volunteer formations who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state, perpetuating their heroism, strengthening the patriotic spirit in society.

The Scientific Library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, honoring the heroism and self-sacrifice of soldiers, has prepared and offers for viewing a virtual exhibition "I paid with my life for my Ukraine to flourish", selected from its own library collections and resources from the Internet

Maryna Ivaskova, a student of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of KhNUIA at the territorial service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, successfully passed the theoretical training and exam. She spoke about the convenient conditions for training people with disabilities created at the Driving School, about the quality of theoretical classes conducted by experienced university lecturers.

A sports and patriotic holiday was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The teams of the study groups of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3, as well as the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 competed in various sports, demonstrating endurance, strength, agility, and teamwork.

Maryna Ivaskova, a student of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, has already completed theoretical training and passed the exam at the territorial service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Oleksandr Marunchak, Head of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of KhNUIA, held a working meeting with representatives of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council - Deputy Head for Medicine, Social Protection of the Population and Military Personnel Myroslav Smotrov and Director of the Department of Social Protection of the Population Petro Sereda.
