The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Yurii Orlov welcomed the participants of the meeting, emphasized the important role of university youth in the formation, strengthening and realization of the intellectual potential of the nation, including in the context of countering the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the need to preserve the statehood, cultural and national identity of Ukrainians.

Since the first months of studying at the university, the participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs have been actively mastering new knowledge in their free time. Valerii Fomich, a 1st year cadet of Faculty No. 3, and Anastasiia Striliana, a 1st year student of Faculty No. 6, successfully completed the online course "Youth Resilience in Crises"

A presentation of Oksana Kovalova's book "Mom, I Want to Live..." was held for students of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who are studying Law. During the event, the curator of student groups, Professor of the Department of Humanities Nadia Demydenko, noted that the author of the book is a heroic journalist who, from the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian army into the territory of Sumy region, worked from scratch to document the war crimes of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Pavlo Chervonyi, 3rd year cadet of Faculty № 3 Valentyn Paseniuk, and Deputy Director for Educational Work of Vinnytsia Lyceum № 29 Liubov Esypova held a career guidance meeting with 10-11th grade students.

Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksii Shumilo held a field class for first-year students of the branch on the basis of Sumy District Court of Sumy Region in the discipline "Judicial and Law Enforcement Agencies of Ukraine".

First-year cadets of Sumy branch of KhNUIA during a short vacation, after taking the oath of a police officer, met with students and teachers in their native schools as part of the "Visit Your Home School" campaign.

Vladyslav Kolisnichenko, associate professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with police officers and emergency driving instructors, conducted a binary lesson for 2nd year cadets majoring in Law Enforcement.

A seminar was held in the legal clinic of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, devoted to ethical issues in the practice of advocacy. Lawyer Serhii Lalenkov joined the discussion of the seminar topic, who familiarized the seminar participants with the rules of lawyer ethics approved by the Congress of Lawyers of Ukraine on June 9, 2017, and talked about the peculiarities of the practical application of the rules and principles of lawyer ethics.

At the initiative of the Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Olena Lukianykhina, representatives of the Regional Clinical Medical Center for Socially Dangerous Diseases conducted a training on "Raising the level of awareness of law enforcement officials about HIV / AIDS and SMT" for first-year cadets within the discipline "Personal safety of a police officer" on the topic "Police officer in the system "person - living environment".

Oleh Honcharuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, together with Serhii Cherkaskyi, a detective of the Criminal Police Department of Poltava District Police Department of the MDNP in Poltava Region, conducted a binary lesson on the subject "Foreign Language for Professional Purposes" for 2nd year cadets of the Faculty № 4 on the topic "Lethal Weapons".
