Participants of the School of Scientific Leadership cadets of 1st and 2nd year of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Sofiia Yareshchenko, Yuliia Shelest, Danylo Tsukor, Oleksandra Isaieva, Anastasiia Emelianenko, Yevheniia Dopirchuk visited the exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of Holocaust tragedy, which was held in V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

On St. Mykolai Day, with the initiative and assistance of the Vice-Rector of KhNUIA Anatolii Klochko and the General Director of Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after M.V. Lysenko Oleh Oryshchenko first-year cadets of the Faculty №2 visited the theater. This was a real gift for freshmen.

On the occasion of the Day of Honoring Retirees and Veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine, cadets of Sumy branch of KhNUIA along with leading specialists Hanna Mititiel, Serhii Tovstukha and curator Tsvitana Skoryna joined the MDNP of Ukraine event in Sumy region.

Recently, the first professor of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which was known as Kharkiv Institute of Internal Affairs, Oleksandr Mykhailovych Kryvulia, celebrated his 80th birthday. He was the first (in chronological order) of that constellation of professors of our university, who had to develop our educational institution side by side with the First Rector of the university Oleksandr Bandurka from the “first bricks”. Oleksandr Kryvulia was also the first among the university's scientists to receive the special rank of “Militia Colonel”.

Kyrylo Simachov, a student of the Faculty № 6 of KhNUIA, conducted a career guidance interview with 10th grade students of Kharkiv private educational complex “Veresen” in Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv city. Vitalii Zaborovskyi, an Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the same faculty, prepared the student for the event.

Volunteers, cadets and employees of Sumy branch of KhNUIA joined the charity event "Give warmth". This event, organized by Sumy City Municipal Gallery, is held for people from the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise of Sumy Regional Council "Clinical Specialized Hospital. Sumy subdivision” and Khoruzhivskyi center of social and psychological rehabilitation of children of the region.

Oksana Maliutina, Head of the Preparatory Department of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a thematic conversation for the students, during which she spoke about ancient beliefs, feelings of Ukrainians and folklore on winter holidays, history and traditions of St. Mykolai Day in Ukraine.

Sabukhi Nuruiev, a 4th year student of the Department of Foreign Citizens Training, Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, became the world champion in the Cossack duel in the MMA Elite section in the super heavyweight category + 93 kg.

On December 19 (December 6 in the Julian calendar), we honor the memory of St. Mykolai Myrlikiiskyi. Orthodox and Greek-Catholic Christians remember and honor him as a historical figure and a Great Saint. In Ukraine and other countries, this Saint became the prototype of the mythical figure of Santa Claus.

Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a round table “Hryhorii Skovoroda – a cult Ukrainian: life, work and influence on the modernity”, which brought together a wide range of connoisseurs of philosopher, poet, theologian and lecturer Hryhorii Skovoroda. The event was joined by both leading scientists and students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA.
