January 22 is the Day of Unity and the first proclamation of Ukrainian statehood in the XX century. On this day, in 1918, the first Ukrainian parliament, the Ukrainian Central Rada, proclaimed the independence of the Ukrainian People's Republic by the Fourth Universal.

Higher education students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs handed over board games "Police Officer to Protect Law and Order" to children from different cities of Ukraine - Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a preliminary distribution of graduates of the Faculties №№ 1-4 in 2024 to the units of the National Police of Ukraine. The events were held at the university locations in Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions.

The Deputy Chief - Head of the Investigation Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region, Police Colonel Oleksandr Radchenko met with first-year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty No. 1, Lieutenant Colonel Vitalii Romaniuk.

Natalia Horbach, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the  Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, and Police Captain Andrii Kozak, a Europol officer, conducted a binary lesson on the subject of "Foreign Language for Professional Purposes" for 3rd year cadets of the Faculty № 2 on "What is Europol and what is its purpose".

Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty № 4 Andrii Voitsikhovskyi, as part of the teaching of the discipline "International Criminal Law" for cadets of one of the groups of the Faculty № 1, held an open lecture on "Legal Assistance in Criminal Cases".

Sincere, fair, responsible and hardworking. This was the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin, who died on January 18, 2023 in a plane crash in Brovary.

At all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized screenings of short documentaries "Flight 54" for students in memory of the employees and leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine who died in last year's plane crash.

Since February 24, 2022, we have been proving our unbreakable Ukrainian spirit and sincere boundless humanity every day. From the first days of the war, Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has been providing assistance to Kharkiv City Animal Shelter, because every saved life is valuable.

According to the results of the training on the Internet platform "Prometheus", students of the Faculty No. 1 learned about the algorithms of actions of specialists of entities that provide services to victims of human trafficking.
