Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined in celebrating European Day of Languages, a holiday established by the Council of Europe in 2001 to remind people of the value of linguistic diversity, the need to preserve cultural heritage, and the importance of learning languages for communication.

On the initiative of the Director of the ERI No. 5, Oksana BRUSAKOVA, students of the specialties "Law" and "Law Enforcement Activities" joined the practical classes held at the Scientific and Practical Center, created on the basis of the Second Administrative Court of Appeal in the city of Kharkiv.

Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksii BRUSLYK took part in the 13th Velvet Summer School "Rule of Law and Constitutionalism", where he spoke as a speaker.

The event was dedicated to the issues of observing service discipline and personal safety rules while performing duties in difficult conditions of martial law. Particular attention was paid to the algorithm of actions in the event of air raids, the need to strictly adhere to the established rules of conduct.

The simulation case was attended by Professor of the Department of Operational and Detective Activities and Crime Solution of the ERI No. 2 Oleksii DEREVIAHIN and Associate Professor of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise of the ERI No. 1 Anastasia VUIMA, cadets of the ERI No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4.

First-year students of the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty "Law" met with the guarantor of the educational and professional program, professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure Volodymyr KROITOR.

Together with 2nd year higher education students in the specialties "Law" and "Law Enforcement" of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, representatives of the Department of Humanities joined the panel discussion "Ensuring the quality of higher legal education in the context of European integration requirements."
