The scientific event, which was opened by the Vice-Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr Muzychuk, was attended by: Vice-Rector of KhNUIA, Doctor of Law, Professor Mykhailo Burdin; deputy chairman of the High Council of Justice, corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Dmytro Lukianov and others.

On this topic, within the framework of the All-Ukrainian campaign "16 Days Against Violence", an educational curatorial meeting of the professor of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise Ihor Zozulia with students of the ERI No. 1 was held. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness among cadets about the problem of violence.

As part of the national-patriotic and military-patriotic education of young people, a meeting took place between 4th-year students of the ERI No. 1 and servicemen of the "Enei" special operations battalion of the paramilitary unit of the Special Purpose Police Department of the Joint Assault Brigade of the National Police "Liut".

Associate Professor of the Department of Civil, Labor and Business Law of the the ERI No. 1 Oksana Bortnik and Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Kyrylo Cherevko, together with 4th year cadets of the ERI No. 1, considered the issue of the boundaries of economic activity of certain organizational and legal forms of business entities.

Students of the ERI No. 4, together with the curator, professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights, Yevhenia Lohvynenko, held a number of events during November: they honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine and laid flowers in the Heroes' Square, and visited the monument to Dzhura - a symbol of the strength of spirit, invincibility, and will of Ukrainians.

Director of the ERI No. 4 Mykola Marchuk congratulated the students on their success in their studies, scientific activities and in the performance of their official duties. He noted that each award is the result of hard work, high motivation and desire for professional growth, an important contribution to the development of the university and law enforcement activities.

The World Junior Universal Combat Championship was held in the city of Kirish (Turkey). In the competitions, where almost half a thousand athletes from 35 countries of the world tested their strength, Oleh Kobenda, a 1st year cadet of the ERI No. 2, took part. In the “light” section in the weight category up to 60 kg, Oleh won a gold medal and a bronze medal in the “classic” section.

The head of the research laboratory on problems of information technologies and combating crime in cyberspace of the ERI No. 4, Dmytro Pashniev, held another meeting with graduating students of schools in Kharkiv region and their parents.

Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of KhNUIA Andrii Voytsikhovskyi conducted training for employees of the Temporary Detention Center of the Main Police Department in Vinnytsia region. The short-term advanced training was devoted to the topical issues of ensuring the right to freedom from torture.

The teaching staff of the Department of Language Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the international annual online conference "Academic English Conference 2024" for English teachers from Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
