On June 8-9, 2023, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Adult Education: Global Trends, Ukrainian Realities and Prospects" will be held at H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, which will be held online.

Oleksandr Bakumov, former Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, and now People's Deputy of Ukraine, gave an open lecture to the 1st year cadets of the Faculties 2 and 3. The topic of the lecture was "The system of public authorities in modern countries".

Vitalii Naida, the Head of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held an online meeting with active students of the Faculty No. 6 of the University. The meeting was organized with the assistance of Oksana Brusakova, Dean of the Faculty No. 6.

More than 70 students of the initial professional training of police officers of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs donated blood and its components for wounded military personnel. Among them are those who donated blood for the first time, as well as those who are already experienced donors. In total, 28 liters of blood were donated

Nataliia Kobylko, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, Faculty № 6, Candidate of Philological Sciences, took part in the International Scientific Conference "War and Literature" organized and held by Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National University of Cherkasy. The event was held in a mixed format: in the classroom and on the Google Meet platform.

250 cadets of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine joined the joint special border operation "West-2023", launched by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Among them are cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. They will serve in Bukovyna, ensuring public safety and order under martial law.

KhNUIA Equal Opportunities team took part in the project webinar "EQUALS-EU: Closing the skills and gender gap in STEM – Where do we stand?", which aimed to present informative updates on the success of establishing gender equality and overcoming the gender gap in the modern European space. EQUALS-EU project affects the work in this direction drew special attention.

Zakhar Demydov, Senior Researcher at the Research Laboratory for Information Technology and Combating Cybercrime at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the webinar "In Cloud We Trust".

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Captain Oleksandr Skliar took the course "Academic Integrity: Online Course for Teachers", prepared with the support of the American Council for International Education: ACTR/ACCELS in Ukraine, the Center for Education Quality Assurance at NaUKMA as part of the project "Academic Integrity and Quality Initiative".
