The head of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, Valerii Sokurenko, emphasized that the Kharkiv police are ready to hold local elections, which will take place on October 25. Currently, command and staff exercises on cooperation procedures to coordinate the actions of the agencies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the joint implementation of tasks are held.

Associate professors of Sociology and Psychology Department, the Faculty № 6 Lada Chepiga, Olena Shakhova and Kateryna Mannapova took part in the annual XII scientific-practical psychotherapeutic conference "Challenges of the modern world - realities and paradoxes of psychotherapy", which took place in Kharkiv.

The Head of the MDNP in Kharkiv region, Valerii Sokurenko, is addressing the residents of the city and the region in connection with the increase in the number of cases of COVID-19. According to the criterion of epidemic danger, most administrative territories of Kharkiv region correspond to the orange level. The Head of the regional police department calls for compliance with quarantine requirements.

Oleksandr Bandurka Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (1992–2003, 2010–2012), Colonel-General of Militia conducted a practical training with adjuncts of the university who have just started their education.

Mykola Pakhnin, Assistant Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Head of the Center of Ukrainian-Polish Development of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in a TV marathon dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the first non-governmental TV company “Tonis-Center”, better known as “Channel Seven”.

Primary vocational training courses for police officers in the field of “Pre-trial investigation agencies” (qualification “Investigator”) have begun for 57 police officers, who joined the police for the first time. Among them are representatives of the Headquarters of the National Police in Vinnytsia, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions, enrolled in the training.

The next 23rd issue of the collection of scientific works "Bulletin of the Criminological Association of Ukraine" has been published. The articles of the collection cover a wide range
of scientific criminological and criminal law issues, current problems of crime control, improvement of national criminal legislation, legal regulation, information and analytical as well as organizational and administrative support of crime prevention in Ukraine, etc.
