Maryna Soroka, a Judge of Zarichnyi District Court of Sumy City, and Nataliia Horobets, Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held an online meeting with cadets and students of Sumy Branch. During the lesson, they talked about bringing to administrative responsibility for traffic violations.

Ukraine marks the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language on November 9. Also, it is a day of commemoration of the Reverend Nestor the Chronicler – a monk of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery, the first Old East Slavic writer, a follower of the creators of Slavic writing Kyrylo and Mefodii. Nestor the Chronicler is traditionally considered one of the authors of “The Tale of Bygone Years”.

A new director, Ruslan Yakovliev, has been introduced at Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. He is a graduate of Kremenchuk Flight College, later he graduated from Kirovohrad State Flight Academy, he has a qualification of the first-class military pilot, and he served in the military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine. He retired as the commander of this unit. He is a participant in an anti-terrorist operation and he has the awards.

The team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - FC “Univer-Dynamo” won the title of champion of Kharkiv region among the teams of the Premier League in the 2020 football season.

The webinar on the topic “Restorative Justice. Mediation and facilitation in criminal proceedings” took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which is the first in the series of webinars from EUAM Field Office. The webinars will be conducted weekly during November and December 2020.

Volodymyr Kroitor, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Proceedings of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part remotely in a meeting of Kharkiv and Donbas Regional Justice Reforms Council. The meeting participants discussed the issues of the transitional justice concept.

Nataliia Kobylko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty No. 6, Candidate of Philological Sciences passed advanced training on the course “Very Verified: online course on media literacy”, the main purpose of which was to teach the listeners to navigate the information and recognize misinformation and propaganda.
