At the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, 25 students of advanced training courses in the field of "patrol police" began training.
Anastasiia Lymarenko, a first-year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who is a member of the Faculty's School of Scientific Leadership, took part in the online course "Understanding Human Rights."
On the basis of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, training sessions for representatives of the National Police of Ukraine on "Custody Records" within the project "PRAVO Police" (UNOPS) were started for the first time.
Vitalii Naida, Head of the School of Scientific Leadership, Faculty 1, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the international online event “Civil Match 2.0” for leading public activists of the Eastern Partnership countries, which took place on the “Hopin” platform.

A solemn day at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. 443 graduates, recent cadets, and now officers of the National Police of Ukraine, graduated from an educational institution where they mastered their future profession. Seven graduates received diplomas with honors.
Every year before the cadets’ graduation celebrations, the university hosts another equally important and long-awaited event - the presentation of lieutenant's shoulder straps. The staff of the university lined up on the large square, honored guests, parents and relatives of the graduates came. The rector of the university, General of Police of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, presented the first officer's shoulder straps to seven excellent cadets.
On the eve of the ceremonial events for graduates, the last university evening test traditionally took place. The entire staff of the police institution of higher education lined up on the large square.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs graduated 1333 young specialists of the faculty № 6 - bachelors and masters - both full-time and part-time in the following specialties: “Law”, “Law Enforcement”, “Psychology”, “Cyber Security”, “Finance, banking, and insurance”. 65 graduates received diplomas with honors.
The rector of the university, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, congratulated the boys and girls on graduation. The event was attended by First Vice-Rector Dmytro Shvets, Vice-Rectors Serhii Bortnyk, Mykhailo Burdin, Leonid Mohilevskyi, Anatolii Klochko, heads of departments and chairs, parents and relatives of graduates.
