On the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, solemn events were held in all cities where the divisions of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are located. The Rector of the higher education institution, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Police General of the Third Rank, Valerii Sokurenko, congratulated the staff of the university on the holiday, which represents the connection of all generations of Ukrainians.

On July 28, the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus-Ukraine, the Day of Ukrainian Statehood is celebrated for the first time, which was established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated August 24, 2021, with the aim of confirming the continuity of more than a thousand years of history and Ukrainian statehood.

On the occasion of the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus-Ukraine and the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized a lecture "The historical significance of the adoption of Christianity in Kyivan Rus-Ukraine" for the cadets of the Faculty No. 2. 

The head of the School of Scientific Leadership of KhNUIA Vitalii Naida successfully passed all qualification stages and received the status of youth leader for sustainable development of the United People Global (UPG) program. Participants from all over the world were selected to participate in the program. 

On July 28, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Ukrainian Statehood for the first time. This holiday is intended to affirm the connection of Ukrainians with our ancestors, who for many generations built the statehood of the Ukrainian people.

On the eve of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, the staff of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs organized a book and illustration exhibition on the topic "Kamianets-Podilskyi - Cathedral Capital of Ukraine" for students of higher education of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4.

With the support of Serhii Borzov, the head of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, the provision of humanitarian aid to the soldiers of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko was organized.

The management of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held the eleventh online meeting with future applicants, who expressed a desire to enter the Faculty at the expense of individuals and legal entities.

The "Good" team has been operating for the third year in a row in Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, donating blood and plasma for Sumy Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. Its members include senior year students.

The cadets of the Faculty No. 4 (Cyber Police) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs met with the Head of the Department of Combating Cybercrimes in Khmelnytskyi Region, who informed about the department's activity in combating cyber threats - modern challenges to the cyber security of the state, about the newest means of combating cyber criminals, which police officers use in their activity etc.
