Gender quest, which took place within the framework of the project "Through equality and understanding for protection and security", has been completed. Eight teams representing Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine competed for the title of the best.

Each team presented the program "Five Steps to Gender Equality", passed the terminology warm-up "Gender and Us" and completed a number of tasks on "Overcoming Gender Stereotypes". Based on the results of the scored points, the jury determined the winners of the quest.

All prizes were divided between the teams. The first place was taken by the teams of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine, the second place - teams of the National Academy of National Guard of Ukraine and Institute of Penitentiary Service, the third place shared the teams Municipal establishment "Kharkiv humanitarian-pedagogical academy" of Kharkiv regional council and Kharkiv State University of Food technology and Trade.

Teams’ participation was also awarded by Diplomas of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The team of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics was awarded for "the first successful steps in establishing gender equality". The team of the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv University of Air Force received the diploma "For team coherence and gender in action". The team of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine was awarded for "creativity and creative approach in finding ways to gender equality".

The awards were presented by the first vice-rector of the University, police lieutenant colonel – Dmytro Shvets.
