Nataliia SADOVA, Leading Specialist of the International Cooperation Department, took part in the information event «Next Steps after Submitting an Application» in the direction of cluster 3 of the Horizon Europe Project.
The event was organized by national contact points of the Horizon Europe Project in Ukraine for the "Civil Security for Society" direction – Oleksii SERDIUK and Oleksandr CHEMERYS.
Oleksandr MUZYCHUK, Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, addressed the participants with a welcome speech. He reminded that Ukraine is an associated country of the Horizon Europe Project since 2022, which gives Ukrainian universities the opportunity to fully participate in competitions on equal rights with EU countries: submit project proposals, form consortia (usually 3 or more partners) and attract funding for research and innovation in various areas – from civil security to health care, developing scientific potential and promoting access to international markets.
The speakers of the event were: NCPs of the Horizon Europe Project in the direction of «Civil Security for Society» in Estonia Lauri Teppo with a report on financing opportunities; Oleksandr MOISEIEV, Chief Specialist of the Office of Horizon Europe in Ukraine, with a speech on the peculiarities of the formation of consortia; NCPs in the direction of «Civil Security for Society» in Ukraine Oleksii SERDIUK (KHNUIA), who spoke about typical mistakes which reduce the evaluation of cluster 3 projects.
