Cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 won the first place in the fifth quest contest «Treasure search in the sea of information – online detective» dedicated to the application of OSINT methods. The event, organized by the research laboratory of OSINT research and security analytics of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, was aimed at researching the risks of human trafficking and illegal migration.

In the competition, which was held remotely and bringing together 23 teams from different regions of Ukraine, the participants demonstrated intelligence, analytical thinking and the ability to work with open sources of information.

The best result was shown by the «CipherEyes» team of KhNUIA, which scored 90 out of 100 possible points and won the winner's diploma and participant certificates. The cadets confirmed the high level of training in the field of OSINT and showed that the acquired skills are important both in training and for future professional activities in cyber security and analytics. https://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/25954
