At Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the winners of the I stages of the XXVI Petro Yatsyk International Competition of Ukrainian Language Experts and the XVI Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition of Pupils and Student Youth have been determined.
These intellectual competitions, which traditionally unite gifted youth from all over Ukraine, are evidence of the indomitable power and beauty of the Ukrainian word. Our students of higher education once again proved a high level of knowledge, philological skills and a deep understanding of the national heritage.
The winners of the I stage of the XXVI Petro Yatsyk International Competition of Ukrainian Language Experts were:
I place – cadet of the ERI No. 1 Marharita MELNYCHUK (Head – Head of the Department of Dumanitarian Disciplines and Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences Nataliia YELNIKOVA);
II place – cadet of the ERI No. 2 Roman SHAHIN (Head – Associate Professor of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines and Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Inna HOLOPYCH);
III place – student of the ERI No. 5– Sofia TARASENKO (Head – Associate Professor of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines and Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Nataliia KOBYLKO).
The winners of the I stage of the XVI Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition for Pupils and Student Youth in the category «Cadets» were:
I place – cadet of the ERI No.1 Kyrylo TARASENKO (Head – Head of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines and Ukrainian Studies Nataliia YELNIKOVA);
II place – cadet of the ERI No.2 Roman SHAHIN (Head – Associate Professor of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines and Ukrainian Studies Inna HOLOPYCH);
III place – cadet of the ERI No.2 Liana GONCHAR (Head – Associate Professor of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines and Ukrainian Studies Inna HOLOPYCH).
In the «category, Students» under the leadership of Nataliia KOBYLKO, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, won:
I place – student of the ERI No.5 Veronika SHMALKO;
II place – student the ERI No.5 Veronika MAMAI;
III place – student the ERI No.5 Ivanna SURKOVA.
We sincerely congratulate our winners, who demonstrated impeccable mastery of the norms of the modern Ukrainian language, erudition, the ability to express their thoughts logically and reasonedly, and also revealed the originality of thinking and a creative approach to understanding modern social processes through the prism of Shevchenko's word.
