Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs – Oleksii DEREVIAGIN, Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solution of the ERI No. 2, Valerii TEMRIIENKO, Senior Lecturer of the same Department, Oleksandr MANZHAI, Head of the Department of Combating Cybercrime of the ERI No. 4 and Professor of the same Department Vitalii NOSOV – took part in the international training "Darknet Investigations with focus on illegal drugs-related activities".

The event was held with the assistance of the International Cooperation Department, the support of the EU Advisory Mission (EUAM) and Europol experts, which brought together representatives of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine and other European countries. The participants got acquainted with the international practice of investigations, current trends in the Darkweb, the EMPACT program, methods of ensuring operational security and work on Darknet marketplaces, deepened their knowledge of OSINT techniques and digital intelligence tools, as well as practiced the skills of digital forensics and modeling of real investigations.

The knowledge and experience gained are of strategic importance for improving the educational process, training future operatives and cyber police officers, and developing international cooperation in the field of combating organized crime.https://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/25846
