Under the organization and moderation of the International Cooperation Department, English conversation clubs were held weekly in online format for representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, starting from October 2024. The classes were focused on two levels of language proficiency – elementary and intermediate (A2 – B1) and advanced (B2), which ensured effective, individually oriented language practice for the management and scientific and pedagogical staff of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5, representatives of the Divisions of Regime and Secret Support, Analytical Work and Management Organization, Departments of Combating Cybercrime, Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights, as well as other units.

The teachers created an interactive and lively atmosphere for all participants, provided practical assistance during communication, helped overcome language barriers, and actively supported the university and Ukraine in connection with martial law.
The aim of the clubs was to improve the level of English proficiency and develop communication skills for professional and everyday use. During the classes, the participants worked on the topics of getting to know each other, introducing themselves, the university and functional responsibilities, developed skills in discussing educational and scientific projects, current world events, books, films, travel, mastered the art of elevator speech and small talks, delved into the historical and cultural features of different countries, etc.
