The participants of the annual competition of scientific works "History of law enforcement bodies" were awarded, which was held among the applicants for higher education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The competition was launched in 2021 on the occasion of the University Foundation Day. It was attended by 27 cadets and university students. The organizing committee of the competition was headed by the First Vice-Rector of the university, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Police Colonel Dmytro Shvets, Deputy Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Hrechenko.

According to the results of the inspection of the competition works, the winners were determined. They were greeted and presented with awards by First Vice-Rector Dmytro Shvets and Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Police General Colonel Oleksandr Bandurka.

The first place was taken by the cadet of the Faculty № 2 Victoriia Liubynska;

The second place was shared by the cadet of the Faculty № 1 Yana Svystun and the student of the Faculty № 6 Dmytro Sukhov;

The third place was taken by the cadet of the Faculty № 1 Mykyta Bielievtsov and the student of the Faculty № 6 Yehor Kyrychenko.

The participant's certificate was received by: cadets of the Faculty № 1 – Kristina Morhai, Sofiia Pereverzieva, Sofiia Yareshchenko, Anna Kozakevych, Ales Polkovnykov, Anastasiia Emelianenko, Ivan Shkurat, Victoriia Kolesnyk, Tamara Zahrunna, Bohdana Savchuk, Alona Musiiko, Anastasiia Lymarenko, Maryna Haidenko, Dariia Fartushna, Valeriia Kyryienko; cadet of the Faculty № 2 Alina Nishta; cadet of the Faculty № 3 Yaroslav Vodolazskyi; students – Anastasiia Shmaraieva, Eduard Karp, Polina Lysenko, Ariel Hordiienko, Farhad Israfilov.

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas, monetary reward and a personal gift from Oleksandr Bandurka – the monograph “Formation and development of the militia of Ukraine (1921-1930): historical and legal research”, other participants received certificates.
