Cadets and students, the management, and the scientific and pedagogical staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with representatives of other higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine system, took part in the information event "NATO Day". Even though the event was held remotely (due to quarantine restrictions), friendly communication and discussion of important current issues took place.

Online presentation "Methodological Recommendations on the Integration of Gender Approaches in the System of Training Specialists for the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine"

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and its separate structural subdivisions - Sumy Branch and Kremenchuk Flight College - led by the Rector, Police General of the 3-rd rank Valerii Sokurenko took part in the online presentation of "Methodological Recommendations on the Integration of Gender Approaches in the System of Training Specialists for the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine". The event was initiated by the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy Kateryna Levchenko and with the participation of the UN Women Representation in Ukraine.

Specialists of the Research Laboratory on Crime Enforcement of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (Head and Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory Kostiantyn Buhaichuk and Oleksii Serdiuk) together with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Programme for Eastern Europe (UNODC) have developed methodological guidelines “Organization of the Activities of the Units of the National Police of Ukraine for Interaction with Communities when Informing Representatives of Groups at Increased Risk about Infection with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus”.
