Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the 3-rd rank Valerii Sokurenko and the First Vice-Rector of the University, Police Colonel Dmytro Shvets held a meeting with the representatives of Czech Republic who visited the university in the framework of cooperation on the implementation of the project "Cooperation in the field of security development with Ukraine 2020".
During the stay at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the coordinator of international education of the International Education Department of the Police Education and Service Training Directorate of the Czech Republic, Police Lieutenant Colonel Miroslav Kortan, Advisor of the Criminal Police and Investigation Service of the Czech Republic, Police Lieutenant Colonel Martina Petrovicova and Lecturer at the Police and Service Education Department of the Czech Republic Police Captain Jana Chmeleva attended a practical lesson with cadets of Faculty № 1.
Cooperation of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with colleagues of the Czech Republic continues. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and University of Bielsko-Biała (Republic of Poland) signed a Declaration on Cooperation in Educational and Scientific areas. The document provides for study visits to exchange experience in the fields of education and research, participation in exchange programs for higher education, as well as pedagogical, scientific and academic staff etc.
Aviation technician in instruments and radio equipment of the aircraft maintenance department of the aviation technical base of Kremenchug Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Karpynskyi successfully completed a full course of training at the «Airbus Helicopters» training center in Marignan (France) on the courses "H125 Type Rating for Avionics no Part 147" and "H125 Modules for Technicians Instructors Avionics".

The European Traditional Karate Championship took place in Katowice (Poland). The competition was attended by cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs – members of the national team of Ukraine in traditional karate and a coach – a senior lecturer at the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty №3 Yurii Povkh. According to the results of the competition, the athletes of the university took prizes.
Сounselor/trainer of Advisory Mission on Community Policing Mulazim Oztürk (a citizen of the Netherlands) led two binaries on “Community Policing” for the cadets of group 401 of faculty No.1 and group 204 of faculty No.3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
