On the occasion of the Day of Unity of the Ukrainian People, a solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of Ukraine took place on the flagpole of Serhiivskyi Maidan in the center of Kharkiv. The event was attended by the Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniehubov, the Head of Kharkiv Regional Council Tetiana Yehorova-Lutsenko, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko, representatives of state institutions, public associations and cadet-student community.
According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine, February 16 was declared the Day of Unity. On this day, the State Flags were waving on all buildings. And at 10 o'clock in the morning the National Anthem of Ukraine sounded across the country.
The management, scientific and pedagogical staff and students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the national performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine.
Also in the regional center with the participation of students of the city 50-meter Flag of Ukraine was unfurled!
Ukraine United! Happy Unity Day!
At Kremenchuk near the monument to Taras Shevchenko, representatives of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the celebration of Unity Day. At the solemn event, the city administration, representatives of various educational institutions and organizations, college staff led by the director Ruslan Yakovlev sang the National Anthem of Ukraine and raised flags.
On the occasion of an important date at Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA, employees, as well as cadets and students organized a flash mob, which aims to demonstrate that Ukrainians are the only nation that loves their motherland.
On April 16, 2022, in the framework of the Horizon 2020 project – "European Regional Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age", KhNUIA is holding an Innovation Camp "Gender in Science and Security".
On February 16, 2022 at 12.00 a.m. on the ZOOM platform there will be an online meeting of the Management of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, representatives of faculties and the admissions committee on the rules of admission and study at university in 2022 with graduates of secondary schools of Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad regions and representatives organization of selection and certification of police departments of staffing of the relevant territorial units of the National Police.
We invite students of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs to take part in the competition of essay on the theme "United Ukraine", dedicated to the Day of Unity of Ukraine. The essay should present the personal opinions of the contestants on the history and destiny of our country, vision of its future.
Candidate of Economical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Liudmyla Parfentii held a curatorial educational hour “Ukraine is United” via videoconference along with the 2nd year students of the specialty “Law Enforcement Activity”.
Today, for the first time, we celebrate the Day of Unity of Ukraine, established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine. But our history has evolved in such a way that for more than a thousand years we have had to fight for our unity, identity and independence, because these processes and concepts are interconnected and interdependent.
