On the occasion of the Day of Unity of the Ukrainian People, a solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of Ukraine took place on the flagpole of Serhiivskyi Maidan in the center of Kharkiv. The event was attended by the Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniehubov, the Head of Kharkiv Regional Council Tetiana Yehorova-Lutsenko, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko, representatives of state institutions, public associations and cadet-student community (http://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/12293).
