Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an online meeting with representatives of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine - the international manager of the Council of Europe project "HELP (Human Rights Education for Lawyers for Ukraine, including in Time of War)" Olha Kostenko, Senior Project Specialist Halyna Smirnova, and Project Officer Volodymyr Boriak.

Vasyl Korniienko, Head of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, conducted a binary lecture in English for students of the University of Michigan, USA, in a zoom conference.

The main speaker was Nadiia Ostapchuk, Anti-Trafficking Manager of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine. Olena Ustymenko, Head of the International Cooperation Department, familiarized the audience with the history of cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the OSCE

The delegation of scientists and cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs completed their work at the scientific conference "Didactic classes in the field of mediation, negotiation and arbitration, in particular international arbitration during martial law", which was held within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Republic of Poland).

With the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), 3-4 year cadets majoring in Cybersecurity and Information Protection have gained access to the RangeForce cloud-based interactive cybersecurity training platform.

In order to implement the Mayors for Economic Growth program funded by the European Union (EU), a business training "Grant Projects and Business Projects: From Idea to Implementation" was held. The purpose of the event is to present the Project "HELP (Human Rights Education for Lawyers) for Ukraine, including during the war" and the courses posted and available for training on the HELP platform.

The subject of the Memorandum is the implementation of cooperation between the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine and Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs to improve the effectiveness of university education on the system of European human rights standards by introducing the Council of Europe HELP (Human Rights Education for Lawyers) courses into the educational programs.

The annual conference of the Association of European Police Colleges "Virtual Reality in Police Training" was held, which this year brought together more than 80 representatives from different European countries - police officers and heads of police units, teachers and researchers of police educational institutions, lawyers, psychologists, information technology specialists, etc.

Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Volodymyr Lisovol, second-year cadet of the Faculty № 4, took part in the I International Scientific and Practical Conference "Global science: prospects and innovations", which took place in Liverpool, UK.
