Students of Poltava Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training got acquainted with the benefits of studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and active hostilities, the university was forced to relocate from Kharkiv to other regions of Ukraine to continue the educational process in a safe environment.

The use of service dogs in combating crime

Within the framework of cooperation and exchange of experience, the academic staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of KhNUIA together with the specialists of the Dog Training Center of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Vinnytsia region conducted a practical binary lesson for cadets of the Faculty № 2 on the topic "Use (application) of service dogs in combating crime and ensuring public safety and order".

Recitation contest dedicated to the 210th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth

The Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty № 2 held a qualifying round of the competition for the best reciter among the cadets of the Faculties № 2 and № 3, dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the birth of the great Ukrainian poet, artist, and thinker Taras Shevchenko. The students turned to the living and sincere words of the Great Kobzar by reciting their favorite poems.

The final lesson in the School of Pedagogical Excellence was held

The lecturers of the event were Olena Pikhurets, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Faculty № 4, who spoke on "Intellectual Property Rights in Scientific and Pedagogical Activities" and Yana Mazur, Anti-Corruption Commissioner of KhNUIA, who spoke on "Basic Requirements of Anti-Corruption Legislation".

Stanislav Shevchuk, Deputy Head of the Temporary Detention Facility (TDF) No. 1 of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast, together with Pavlo Mitrukhov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solving of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, organized and conducted a field binary class for 1st year cadets of the Faculty No. 2, who are studying Law Enforcement.

Useful weekend vacation

After studying, the cadets of the Faculty No. 2 of the University spent an active vacation at the Center for Winter Sports and Healthy Recreation "Ice Club" in Vinnytsia. The future law enforcement officers received a lot of positive emotions, and those who skated for the first time learned basic skills and abilities.

Rector of the University presented awards to cadets - winners of sports competitions

During the morning formation, the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko presented awards to the cadets who took part in sports competitions - Vinnytsia Region Open Kickboxing Championship WAKO and Vinnytsia Region Judo Championship among youth under 21.

The Open WAKO Kickboxing Championship of Vinnytsia Region among youth sports schools and sports clubs in the low kick section was held. According to the results of the competition, the athletes of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs won prizes.

The cadets of the Faculty № 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to provide assistance to the families of servicemen who bravely hold their positions in the Security and Defense Forces. The cadets helped the family of the defender to clean up the yard, garden and orchard.

KhNUIA hosted e-sports competitions

The university held a tournament in the e-sports discipline "Counter-Strike 2" on the "FACEIT" platform, in which 10 teams of Faculties №№ 1-4, 6 and Sumy branch competed. The tournament was held with the support of the Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF), which controlled the organization and refereeing of the tournament.
