The academic staff of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty № 4 organized and conducted an informational and educational event for higher education students of the Faculties № 1, № 4 and № 6 on the topic "Understanding Gender Equality in Law Enforcement".

Employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held talks on the prevention of the use of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors for students of Faculties №№ 1-4. They explained to young people the devastating consequences of drug addiction on human health, the main signs of drug addiction and modern principles of effective treatment.

Yuliia Bezusa, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1, held an online career guidance meeting with graduates of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 34 of Kharkiv City Council. She familiarized future applicants with this year's admission requirements, provided information about the faculties and specialties in which specialists are trained.

With the assistance of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, officers of Sinelnyk District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipro Oblast met with high school students of Raiev Lyceum of Sinelnyk District.

The academic staff of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1 - Head of the Department Yurii Orlov, Associate Professor Ivan Krytsak, Senior Lecturer Kostiantyn Shevelev and Lecturer Olena Horash - completed a series of short-term training courses aimed at developing soft skills in the field of countering fakes and disinformation.

Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko paid a working visit to the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4. During the meeting with representatives of the management, the state of organization of the educational process was analyzed. The Rector noted that, despite the difficult wartime, cadets should receive quality education, acquire professional skills and practical experience.

Serhii Vasyliev, Head of the General Criminal Investigation Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, and Alina Piddubna, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1, conducted a binary class on "Evidence and Proof in Criminal Proceedings."

Valentyna Yatsenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA, met with graduates of Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum No. 13 of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council of Khmelnytskyi Region. The young men and women learned more about Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the algorithm of actions for admission by state order.

Fourth-year cadets of the Faculties №№ 1, 2, 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who receive higher education under the educational and professional program "Law" (police) of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, defended their internship materials. The defense was held with the use of elements of the police quest, as a result of which higher education students were able to demonstrate the skills developed during the internship.
