The library presents to the university community a book-illustrative exhibition "Walter Scott - a master of the historical novel", dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the birth of the famous English novelist, poet Walter Scott (1771-1832).

Oleksandr Balabin, a second-year student of the 6th faculty of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, won the Ukrainian Youth Boxing Championship, which took place from July 26 to August 1 in Kharkiv.
Participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the All-Ukrainian essay competition "Youth on the Constitution of Ukraine" and prepared 30 competition works.
Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Deputy Head of the Educational and Methodological Department, Police Major Serhii Marchyshyn and Associate Professor of the Department of Criminology, Forensic Expertise and Pre-medical Training, Faculty № 1, Lieutenant Colonel Tetiana Matiushkova took part in a virtual international seminar on the development of a training course on police response to the threat of theft of ionizing radiation sources during use, storage or transportation.
As part of career guidance work, Assistant Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Viktor Slysh met with Head of Krasnohrad Regional State Administration Viktor Voitenko and Heads of six united territorial communities that are the part of the district.
Entrants of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs won prizes at the European Sumo Championship, which took place in Siedlce (Poland). Dmytro Kotov (up to 90 kg) and Kyrylo Krupskyi (up to 80 kg) became bronze medalists in the under-18 category. The athletes were trained by coaches Serhii Khekalo, Vladyslav Viun, and Serhii Skvarcha.
Denis Furtas, a first-year cadet of the faculty № 1 at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a member of the National Team of Ukraine, took the first place among juniors at the Savat French Boxing World Championships.
