Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, Candidate of Economic Sciences Liudmyla Parfentii took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Transformational Processes of Professional Development of Lecturers in the Context of Educational Innovations".

1st year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Anna Radko and Hlib Kurdes are active participants in the volunteer movement. They spend their free time at the Motorized Beehive Center, where young people weave nets for the military.

Yaromyr Slyvka, 26, from Borshchiv, Kolomyia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, is taking a theoretical course at the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. In 2023, he and his brother signed a contract and went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend Ukraine from the Russian invasion. During one of his combat missions in Bilohorivka, Donetsk region, Yaromyr was seriously wounded.

Veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, author of the book "The Story of a Stubborn Man", winner of the Invictus Games 2023, Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Budko met with students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

For the cadets of the Faculties №№ 1-4 of KhNUIA, the curators of the educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held conversations on anti-corruption topics. The following issues were discussed during the events: "What is corruption and what are the causes of its occurrence?", "Does this phenomenon affect all citizens of the state?", "What is the responsibility for committing corruption?".

To mark the 160th anniversary of the birth of Olha Franko (Khoruzhynska), the Scientific Library has prepared and is offering for viewing a virtual biographical sketch "The Woman whom Franko himself fell in love with", made using neural networks.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, under the general editorship of the Rector of the University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Valerii Sokurenko, a practical guide "Memo for Graduates of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on Documenting Crimes Related to the Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine" was published, prepared by the scientists of KhNUIA and employees of practical units.

As part of improving the quality of education, Yulia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law No. 1, took a refresher course on "Progressive Teaching: Intensive from Ostrivtsi", which was held online at Ukrainian educational institutions.

The event on the topic "Sale of municipal real estate" was held within the framework of cooperation between Vinnytsia branch of KhNUIA Legal Clinic with Vinnytsia Regional Association of Local Governments and the Regional Center for Free Secondary Legal Aid in Vinnytsia region.
