EYP Ukraine invites you to participate in Oleksandriia Regional Session
The
European Youth Parliament is an international youth non-political and non-religious, educational non-profit organisation that encourages Ukrainian youth to actively participate in the public life of society. Our organization has national committees in 36 European countries!
Our goals and objectives:
- to spread European values: democracy, human rights, civil society among Ukrainian youth;
- provide an opportunity for young people from different countries to offer solutions for important issues, and exchange your vision regarding relevant political, social, cultural, economic, and legal issues;
- accelerate the European path of Ukraine by integrating Ukrainian youth into the European youth community.
Our session is a simulation of the work of the European Parliament at the regional level, which includes: team building, which helps all participants to get to know each other better; work in the committee to solve the proposed topic and problem; General Assembly, where committees defend their resolutions and adopt or reject them.
This is a great opportunity to practice your English, and test your critical thinking, communication, and debate skills. Also, make new contacts and meet people from other cities of Ukraine.
Each of the delegates will have the opportunity to become an official member of our organisation. Official membership provides an opportunity to promote the European integration of Ukrainian youth, join other events from our national committee, and attend sessions abroad as part of the Ukrainian delegation.
When? 01.12-03.12 (presence on all 3 days is important, proofs of absence during the educational process are provided).
Where? Oleksandriia, Kirovohrad Oblast
Officіal language of the event: English.
